Where can I take my vehicle?
You can take your vehicle to any state licensed repair facility with a valid business license and tax id. If you need assistance finding one, please visit www.RepairPal.com/headstart
What is a waiting period?
The waiting period is the time and mileage in which a claim cannot be placed. Usually, it is 30 days and 1000 miles after the purchase of the agreement. Any issues present at the time of the agreement purchase or any failures that occur during this waiting period are not eligible for coverage.
What maintenance is required?
Please maintain your vehicle per the manufacturer’s guidelines and keep the verifiable records in case they are ever requested from you.
How do I make my monthly payment/how can I update my payment method?
Here at Headstart, we do not take payments from customers. Please contact your lien holder for any questions or concerns regarding your monthly payments.
How do I get a rental?
To avoid any unforeseen out of pocket expenses, please to do not obtain a rental until the claim is decided on. If your agreement assists with rental, it will be based on approved labor hours only.
How do I transfer this agreement?
Transfers are from person to person, not vehicle to vehicle. That being said, a transfer must be initiated by our contract holder after a private sale. If this applies to your situation, please email claims@headstartwarrantygroup.com to obtain a transfer form and next steps.
How do I cancel, what will my cancellation refund be and how will I receive it?
All cancellations must be initiated by the selling Dealership – please refer to your selling Dealership
